About JECC
JECC’s expertise and reputation for excellence has been built over the years by a proud and dedicated team, confirming project after project that we are here to deliver superior quality and durability in our equipment and service.
Founded in 1991 by Jacques Éthier and Cécile Charette, we began our journey with planned mill shutdowns across Quebec and the United States.
In the early 2000s, the current factory was built allowing us the ability to design, fabricate, and install our own line of industrial equipment with the goal of creating and offering products of unmatched quality.
In 2004, and again in 2012, we were required to expand our building to accommodate new equipment and to better meet our customers’ growing demand.
Most recently, in 2024, Max Leclerc acquired the company, ensuring long term succession planning for the team and the business. He has kept JECC’s founder by his side as president, ensuring a smooth transition.
With over 35 years of acquired expertise, JECC continues to innovate and design increasingly bespoke and high-performing equipment and provides innovative solutions to the specific needs of each customer.
